Throughout life we are faced with the opportunity to be a part of and have others be a part of our
daily lives. To say I have a best friend would be very wrong. I say this because I actually have best friends in my life,
who have their special place in my heart for multiple reasons. Some to hold me up after I have fallen, others to be the shoulder
I have sobbed on (soaked is more like it) and some old friends who have picked up right where we left off in our last moments
together, whether it was a month or years later.
Saying that I have been fortunate in knowing all those in my life who is a friend or family
member, is not really an option. Blood and DNA may show were there is a common source some people have from birth, but no
one can say that I can draw the line between family and friend since every person in my life has help to grow me into the
person I am today. All the "thank you's" and greatful heart felt appreciation can't give back in return the value and love
I have seen in my lifetime. My church family is a very big part of that too. We have had our membership at Faith Baptist (
www.faithbaptist.org ) since 1997. I , feeling the call to fulltime ministy, have stepped out into the waters to aid a church just started, that
is a satellite branch from Hebron Baptist in Dacula Ga. It's name is Hebron East ( http://www.hebronchurch.org/hebroneast.htm ) The pastor there Dave Farmer and he has such a heart for God, he is truly passionate for letting those in the world
know what it is to have Jesus Christ as their Savior.
Please undestand I never will profess to be perfect, better than or above anyone in this world, but
I will say I am royalty, baught and paid for. That doesn't mean I am above being who Christ was to us, a servant and a sacrifice
to the world. I am greatful that my friends are those type of people who continue to encourage me in my desire to be
the whole man that God would have me be.
