A new life...a new way...all done in Jesus name

"There can be only one!"
That was the statement said by Conner Mcleod as he became the one and only survivor of an immortal race of people who tried to survive by killing one another until the time of the "Gathering", a time when only two would survive to battle to the last survivor won. In the movie saga Highlander, Conner won and was given all power and knowledge. This is not something that will happen. In fact, it is make believe. But Christianity is not make believe. It is a real life that is devoted to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Well, unlike this movie-fantasy, Christianity does not require all those who want to be a part of the Kingdom of God to kill one another to achieve a place of elavated glory. Satan may want you to do that. In fact, it is clear he does want you to do that. For it says in 1Pe 5:8

Be sensible and vigilant, because your adversary the Devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking someone he may devour;

But thats not God's will. As it says in John 12:47

And if any one hears My Words and does not believe, I do not judge him, for I do not come to judge the world, but to save the world.

Christ came to reconcile mankind to a personal relationship with God the Father, so that we might be with Him in heaven for eternity.
But much like the HIGHLANDER saga when Conner Mcleod says "There can be only one!" he is right...there CAN be only one Lord in your life:

JESUS CHRIST
is the only Way, Truth and the Life!
(John 14:6)
We all have a choice to make, what will you chose?
Life is about choices...we chose to live or die by the small choices we make daily. Jesus offers us a way to be able to come to the Heavenly Father through Him, Him being Jesus as our mediator and bridge/debt payer before the Father. But just like we chose to walk in one direction, if we come to a cliff, do we blindly continue to walk? Or do we seek an alternate route? If we accept what Jesus has to offer (eternal life with Him in heaven) then we turn away from ourselves and our choices to do harm to ourselves and others and chose to walk and mimic a life that would be worthy of the name we are called...Christians (which means: Little Christ)
Three things you must do:
1) Repent (do a 180 degree turn around from your present life you live, without asking "What would you have me do Lord?"
2) Believe ( accept that Jesus died on the cross for you personally to free you from an eternal life in a place originally created for the angels (Hell)
INTERESTING SIDE NOTE HERE:
It says in the book of 2nd Kings:
2Ki 19:35 And that night the angel of the Lord went out and put to death in the army of the Assyrians a hundred and eighty-five thousand men; and when the people got up early in the morning, there was nothing to be seen but dead bodies.
185000 men vs. 1 angel of God?
I don't care how terminator-like or Rambo-like you may think you are, if the creation of Hell was for the punishment of angels, what makes you think you could stand a day in that place. So think about an eternity?
And finally...
3) Recieve and accept the gift Jesus gave you before you were even a glimmer in your momma and daddy's eye...ETERNAL LIFE through Jesus. Now keep in mind there are swap-outs for accepting this gift of eternal life.
1)You have to stop living like hell on Saturday night and singing in the choir with Jack Daniel's on your breath on Sunday morning.
2) Stop smiling with a fake smile at the girl in your Sunday School class and then stabbing her in the back by telling rumors about her you only heard about.
3) Listening and nodding as the preacher says "No pre-marital sex" in the pulpit at the early morning service, then sneeking off with the latest HOT guy to feel one another up in a empty Sunday School room.
4) Save yourself for after being married and stop trying to be with the latest cute girl in the back of the church van on the way back from a Youth outing.
All this is said to let you know, being a Christian isn't easy for a guy or gal...But for Christ, in who we can do all things, if we lean on His strength, it is so easy. We just have to give our life over to Jesus, daily!

I want to direct attention to those who are computer literate and allow them to see a little about myself. A cyber calling card if you will. And also share a little about myself , but hopefully a lot about my Savior, who has been there through every storm and mountaintop experience. He's blessed me with a wonderful family and friends that no man could ask for. I can truly say that I am blessed...

What's New?
I have recently been attempting to get my name out in the USA for opportunities to be full time in the service of the Lord. It has been a hard path these past few years, but I know I serve an "on-time God" and when it is time He will open those doors I should go through. Until then, I keep praying and going on greatful for all He has done for me in my life and in my family's life.
